The Costume Institute's Annual Ball

The Costume Institute's gala had a Superheroes theme, a nod to the Superhereos: Fashion and Fantasy exhibit at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Guests were encouraged to push the envelope and embrace the theme through their attire. Sadly, most opted for glamour served straight up but here are some shots of those who were truly inspired.

Sports Museum of America

NYC welcomes the Nation's first all-sports museum to celebrate all the sports that Americans love. The Sports Museum of America will be opening on May 7th.

Tory Burch

Google has asked 70+ artists (Oscar de la Renta, D&G, Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenburg, Jeff Koons, Phillipe Starck and Michael Graves to name a few) to design downloadable skins for their iGoogle pages. An open-air art museum, displaying the various themes is opening at Gansevoort Plaza in NYC. Go check it out at 8pm from May 1st till May 3rd.
